The Joyce Fisher Charitable Trust provides BLAKE with critical support for two of its programmes – NZVR and BLAKE Explorers. NZVR is an ocean education programme that uses 360° videos shot around Aotearoa to bring to life the challenges faced by our marine environment, reaching as many as 40,000 students in schools each year. BLAKE Explorers is a three day-two night programme that takes students from disadvantaged backgrounds into the natural world to participate in activities such as snorkeling, surfing, estuary walks, ecology trails and kiwi spotting, all while learning about things we can do to protect the health of the environment.
